SofieCorner

Order Confirmation & Policy Agreement

By placing an order on the SofieCorner website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to our Return and Refund Policy.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that:

  • You have reviewed and accepted our return conditions and applicable timeframes.

  • You agree to follow the return process as outlined in this policy.

  • In the event of a chargeback or payment dispute, this policy—together with order records and communication history—may be used as supporting evidence.


Returns

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided all conditions below are met.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, and unwashed.

  • The product must be returned in its original condition and original packaging.

  • Only reasonable handling and inspection are permitted.

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping and handling costs.

All returns are inspected upon arrival and processed within 7 business days. SofieCorner reserves the right to refuse returns that show signs of misuse, excessive wear, or damage not caused by us.


How to Initiate a Return

To request a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us within 30 days of delivery by emailing info@sofie-corner.com.

  2. Include the following information in your email:

    • Order number

    • Reason for the return

    • Photos of the item (required if damaged or defective)

    • Your full name and return shipping address

  3. Wait for our return authorization and instructions before sending the item.

⚠️ Items sent without prior approval or to an incorrect address may be refused.

We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method and keeping proof of shipment until your return has been fully processed.


Defective or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing info@sofie-corner.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A short explanation of the issue

  • Clear photos or a short video showing the defect

After verification:

  • We may offer a replacement depending on product availability and the nature of the issue.

  • In certain cases, a return of the defective item may not be required.

Replacement items are usually processed within 7–14 business days.


Lost or Unclaimed Packages

Lost Shipments

If your package is lost in transit:

  • Contact our support team with your order number and tracking information.

  • We will assist with a courier investigation and arrange a replacement or refund once the loss is confirmed.

Unclaimed or Refused Deliveries

If a package is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, a $35 CAD deduction will be applied to the refund to cover administrative and shipping costs.


Cancellations & Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Canadian consumer protection regulations, you may withdraw from your purchase within 30 days of receipt.

Please note:

  • Orders are processed automatically and cannot be canceled once shipped.

  • If the order has already been dispatched, you may initiate a return after delivery by following the return process above.

To request a cancellation before shipment, email info@sofie-corner.com with a clear withdrawal request.

Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the buyer.


Chargebacks & Dispute Handling

If you experience any issue with your order, we encourage you to contact SofieCorner first. We are committed to resolving concerns quickly and fairly.

In the event of a chargeback or payment dispute, we may submit supporting documentation to the payment provider, including:

  • Order confirmation

  • Shipping and tracking information

  • Email correspondence and submitted photos

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may delay resolution and could impact future purchasing eligibility.


Important Information

  • All approved returns must be shipped to our central fulfillment warehouse in Asia, at the customer’s expense.

  • SofieCorner is not responsible for shipping delays, customs processing times, or import clearance issues.

  • Hygiene-sensitive products returned in used or unsanitary condition will not be accepted.

  • Returns are not free; shipping and handling costs apply.
